Calling all presenters and educators who feel intimidated by the need to get out there now in the virtual world
As an experienced presenter you are used to owning the room. You know how to work the crowd and confidently deliver your content. You engage with your audience and inspire them to learn.
You know it’s important to connect with your audience, to look them in the eye. You have great body language. You know how to project your voice to fill the room. And you are an expert at reading the room. You can read the unspoken questions in the electricity in the air. You produce the right illustration at the perfect moment. You are a highly capable presenter who is passionate about your subject and cares about your audience.
Then your world is turned upside down.
You need to go virtual.
You know it’s not enough to simply get on camera.
There are logistics and communications, and a new way to manage interactions.
You’re certain you can do it, but time is against you and you don’t want to “learn by error”.
You’ve a professional reputation to maintain.
You know the risks - the stilted performance, the technology confusion, the lack of connection.
And you know it’s time to make the leap.
You’re looking for a guide, a fairy godmother, a sherpa to help carry the load.
Imagine working with someone who will review your content and show you where you can add virtual interaction and engagement.
They will walk you through setting up your first session and give you a checklist so you can do it again.
They will show you how to work with a Producer - creating briefing documents and checklists.
Then they will BE your producer on the day of your Virtual Presentation.
Afterwards they will guide you through the follow up logistics and give you feedback so you can do it all again, only even better.
Say goodbye to ….
Second guessing what needs to be done and how.
Anxiety about what you might have missed.
Lacking confidence in the quality of your Virtual Presentation.
Juggling how to make a good impression and managing technology during your presentation.
I’m a learning strategist who helps highly competent presenters and educators (like you) confidently take their in person delivery into the virtual world.
I work with people who are used to engaging with their audience and owning the room but fear that the technology and personal distance are diminishing their credibility.
I coach them before their next virtual session and then support them on the day, managing the logistics so they can focus on being fabulous. I give them tools and strategies so they can relax about adapting to the virtual space and simply treat it like it’s just another location. This gives them the time and confidence to focus on what they do best - delivering great content and being acknowledged as an expert in their field.
